Titans defense trolls Shedeur Sanders after fourth quarter takeaway
The Cleveland Browns have committed two turnovers against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. After their second turnover, which came in the fourth quarter, Tennessee’s defense decided to mock Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders.
Sanders wasn’t directly involved. He completed a pass to running back Dylan Sampson, who turned up field and fumbled the ball. Tennessee recovered and had a party in the end zone. They decided to collectively hit Sanders’ signature celebration.
Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton did this in Sanders’ first NFL appearance last month. It’s happened again in Sanders’ third consecutive start.
Shedeur Sanders, Browns fall short of completing comeback vs. Titans
The Titans scored off the turnover to take a 28-17 lead in the fourth quarter. This game went all the way down to the wire. Sanders first took one in on his own to cut the lead to eight. Then, with 1:03 remaining in the game, Sanders connected with tight end Harold Fannin Jr. for a seven-yard touchdown. That made it a 31-29 ballgame.

The Browns, however, failed to convert the two-point conversion attempt. That was game in Cleveland. The Titans held on to win just their second game of the season, while dropping the Browns to 3-10.
Sanders posted big numbers in the defeat. He completed 23-of-42 passes for 364 yards, three touchdowns and one interception.
