TJ Watt invites Joey Porter Sr. to Steelers 'Who Ride' pregame hype huddle

Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) linebacker TJ Watt invited a special visitor to help out with their “Who Ride” pregame huddle ahead of the Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants (2-5).
Just before going into the pregame routine, Watt signaled over Joey Porter Sr., the legendary Steelers linebacker and Super Bowl XL champion.
Porter, a member of the Steelers’ All-Time Team after spending the first seven years of his career in Pittsburgh, is on hand for the game, and led the Terrible Towel wave. Porter’s son, Joey Porter Jr., is now one of the team’s starting cornerbacks. He had a visible smile on his face as pops came out of the tunnel to an ovation from the Acrisure Stadium crowd.

Steelers bring out Joey Porter ahead of MNF vs. Giants
Perhaps with Porter in the building, the Steelers’ defense could be in store for a turn back the clock performance. To this point in the season, Pittsburgh has been effective in stopping opposing offenses, allowing just 298.3 yards per game. The Steelers have surrendered on average 14.4 points per game, the second fewest in the NFL.
That starts with Watt, who continues to be a game wrecker in his eighth season in the league. The 2021 AP Defensive Player of the Year has 4.5 sacks and three forced fumbles this season.
