Tom Brady makes highly unfortunate mispronunciation, leads to awkward moment during Cowboys vs. Eagles

Tom Brady made an unfortunate mistake while calling the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on Sunday. Late in the contest, Brady mispronounced Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson‘s name, which led to an awkward moment.
Tom Brady quickly corrected the mistake and went back to finishing his analysis. The seven-time Super Bowl champion is in his second season of calling NFL games for FOX.
During the season, Brady calls FOX’s top game with Kevin Burkhardt. In May 2022, FOX signed Brady to a 10-year, $375 million deal, making him the highest paid sports commentator in history.
During Brady’s first season in the booth, the NFL put several restrictions on him since he’s a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. This year, the league “relaxed” those restrictions, including attending production meetings and interviewing players off-site.

Tom Brady continues to learn and grow as a broadcaster
During Super Bowl week last season, Brady admitted he still has a lot to learn when it comes to broadcasting. “I understand I’m a long ways from being a finished product as a broadcaster, but I really enjoy the opportunity and I am very grateful to all the people that I work with every week,” he said in February, per The Hollywood Reporter.
Brady also revealed that he received advice from multiple broadcasters. “Cris Collinsworth sent me one this morning, and it was the nicest message you could have ever imagined,” Brady said. “People watch the game and listen and send me messages, ‘hey, this is what I think you can do a better job of.’ These are people that are in the industry I had looked up to and respected.”
Brady landed the job at FOX because of what he did on the field. Along with winning seven Super Bowls, the former Michigan star collected five Super Bowl MVP awards, three NFL MVP awards, was named to the Pro Bowl 15 times, and selected to the All-Pro Team six times. Brady was so dominant as a player, he was named to the NFL 2000s and 2010s All-Decade Teams.
