“Montreal Expos, you up?” — Tom Brady, preparing to dominate another sport.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback continues to prove there’s nothing he can’t do, as he hit some frozen ropes in batting practice while Rob Gronkowski shagged fly balls. Check out the video evidence that Brady can hold is own on a baseball diamond, if you didn’t know that already.

“Got some cuts in this morning,” tweeted Brady. “Wonder if that Expos offer is still on the table.”

To illustrate, Brady — a high-school catcher — was selected in Round 18 of the 1995 MLB Draft by the now-defunct MLB franchise. In an ironic turn of events, the star athlete is now the last active draft pick of the team, and he doesn’t even play the sport.

No, an MLB future isn’t on the docket for Tom Brady, but the star quarterback will be the hottest free agent in men’s softball when he walks off the football field.

Perhaps he’ll bring Rob Gronkowski with him. While we didn’t see the star tight end swing the bat, he did show off some impressive speed in the outfield.

Netflix announces Tom Brady roast, new partnership

Tom Brady almost retired after the 2021 season, but the 44-year-old quarterback is back and more visible than ever. The formerly closed-off Super Bowl Champ-turned-social media jokester is on ESPN with his Man in the Arena series, he’s in a movie, 80 for Brady, he’s going to be joining FoxSports and now, he’s even teaming up with Netflix.

Brady’s production company, 199 Productions, is part of a team putting together Netflix’s Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROATS. As part of the deal, the former Michigan star and Patriots legend will be the show’s first roast victim. His episode will record next offseason, after the 2022 season. The streaming service did not reveal who could show up to burn the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback.

Netflix announced the move with a release titled: “Netflix to Roast Gisele Bündchen’s Husband, Tom Brady.”

“To quote my good friend, Marshawn Lynch … ‘I’m just here so I won’t get fined,’” said Brady in a statement following the news.

“We can’t wait to burn three-time Super Bowl-losing quarterback Tom Brady, who only went back to the NFL in order to delay this roast,” Robbie Praw, Netflix vice president of stand-up and comedy formats, said. “In all seriousness, it’s a huge thrill to work with the greatest football player of all time on this project. No one’s better at taking hits and still coming out on top, so we know the roast will be a breeze for Brady.”
