Toni Breidinger, crew members called to NASCAR hauler after pit road incident with Carson Hocevar at Texas

Following a near-miss incident on pit road, Toni Breidinger, her crew chief, and spotter have been called to the NASCAR hauler. Not good news for the Tricon Garage No. 5 team tonight.
Texas has tested these NASCAR Truck Series drivers. From hitting the grass to mechanical issues. Toni Breidinger was fighting alternator issues throughout the race tonight.
As Breidinger was bringing her truck to the garage, she pulled out in front of Carson Hocevar, who was leaving his pit stall. It was a really sketchy situation and one that warranted a walk to the NASCAR hauler.
Here is a look at what happened. Officials were not happy with the crew chief, spotter, or driver in this situation.
Tonight has just not been Toni Breidinger’s night. She has had a couple of weeks with strange mechanical problems. Tonight, it was her alternator. Clearly, her crew chief and spotter were not paying close attention on pit road as she made her way to the garage.
Toni also has to be aware. She is the one driving the truck. Just not a great race tonight, and not a great end to the night with a trip to the hauler.
This week started with a new sponsor announcement for Breidinger. It unfortunately ends with a DNF and a bit of a warning from NASCAR.

Toni Breidinger having rocky rookie season
The Truck Series is stacked with talent this year. That is part of the reason why Toni Breidinger is having such a tough time adjusting this season. Her truck also appears not to have the same speed as her teammates.
Tonight, her truck was slow from the green flag. Not sure there was much she could do with it. No matter how you measure this season for Breidinger, it’s hard to come up with a lot of good things to say on the track in 2025.
There is a lot of racing left this season. Toni Breidinger will likely be just fine in the long run. She has shown speed in the Truck Series before, in Tricon equipment, back in 2023. So, it is puzzling to me to see her struggle to find that same speed now.
This NASCAR Truck Series race is getting down to the finish. The first overtime in 22 truck races, the longest streak ever for this series in the overtime era. Corey Heim is going to try and get the job done, but Ben Rhodes has other ideas.
