Toni Breidinger No. 5 truck bursts into flames during Watkins Glen Truck Series race

What looked like her best run of the season is over for Toni Breidinger in the NASCAR Truck Series race at Watkins Glen. Breidinger was P17, knocking on the door of a top-15 finish when her truck burst into flames.
All was well, and then a huge cloud of white smoke appeared as Toni Breidinger was nearing the entrance to pit road. Soon, there was a fireball trailing her No. 5 Dave & Buster’s Toyota Tundra.
A really solid race today for the Tricon Garage driver. Breidinger is done for the day with only a few laps to go in the race.
Toni Breidinger has had a tough weekend at Watkins Glen. This morning she discovered that her car had been broken into and her suitcase was stolen. She had firesuits and personal items taken, and is asking fans to help locate the items if they go up for sale online.
After having a really solid run at The Glen, her day is over early and her truck is more or less destroyed. A really tough day for Breidinger, but there is still a lot of positive takeaways for her to have from the race today.
Toni Breidinger loses belongings before Glen race

“Anyone in the Ithaca NY area!” Breidinger wrote on X/Twitter. “My car was broken into last night, and my suitcase was stolen. It’s a custom Tumi suitcase with TB on it. Inside were personal items, including my 818 and Coach suits.
“If you happen to see a suitcase or my racing stuff that’s being sold on Facebook Marketplace, OfferUp, Craigslist, or anywhere else, please send me the link.”
The fact that she lost her 818 Tequila suit and Coach suit tells me that they will soon be on sale. You can’t find another Coach NASCAR firesuit anywhere else. People suck.
Toni Breidinger has fought hard to get good finishes. This weekend was going to be an example of what she can do. Road course racing isn’t necessarily a strength of hers, either. Instead of a top-20 finish, she goes home with a DNF.
