Top-5 NASCAR Paint Schemes: FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway

JHby: Jonathan Howard08/04/23Jondean25

Another week in NASCAR and another strong group of paint schemes. The FireKeepers Casino 400 is bringing the heat! There weren’t a lot of great schemes this week, so we do have a repeat of a scheme used earlier in the year. But that’s alright, the four new ones are strong contenders.

This race is going to be interesting. There are just four more weekends until the playoffs. After Michigan, things could look a lot different as far as the NASCAR postseason is concerned.

We’ve got some local flair this week in our paint schemes. There is a bit of a color scheme theme this week with some strong red and black designs throughout the field. Also, some fun crossover with eSports and the NBA.

Top-5 paint schemes for FireKeepers Casino 400

Kyle Busch – Kwik Trip/Kwik Star Chevy
This is another new scheme for Rowdy. Some Midwest classics for this Michigan race. Busch could take this one to victory lane. There is just something about a red and white No. 8 Chevy that makes you feel good inside. Busch is among the favorites this weekend.

Harrison Burton – Ford 20 Year Master Senior Techs Ford
A shoutout to those Master Senior Technicians at Ford Motor Company, this scheme is awesome. Black and red is a classic combo in NASCAR. The 21 hasn’t looked this good in a while. It would be fun to see Burton come away with a strong performance in the FireKeepers Casino 400.

Bubba Wallace – DoorDash Toyota
This is the repeat design. Bubba Wallace is back in the DoorDash Toyota. This is just a really strong scheme that reminds me of a Jordan Brand shoe in many ways. Much better than his McDonald’s scheme this season, this is a solid look. He was close a year ago, can Wallace get the job done on Sunday?

Tyler Reddick – Rocket League Toyota
This is a really fun partnership. 23XI Racing and Rocket League. ESports are on the rise and a lot of folks are going to love this scheme. It is one of, if not the best-looking car of the weekend and it breaks up the group of red schemes on this list.

Alex Bowman – Ally + Detroit Pistons Chevy
Ally keeps bringing great alternate schemes to the race track. This time with the Detroit Pistons. By far my favorite paint scheme and partnership of the weekend, Bowman is going to be representing Michigan in the FireKeepers Casino 400. He could use a strong performance, maybe the Motor City will give him an extra edge this Sunday.
