Trackhouse Racing unveils hilarious new Jockey fire suit on Ross Chastain ahead of Richmond

Ross Chastain is sporting an interesting look for Saturday’s NASCAR Cup Series Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway. Jockey, the main sponsor for Chastain’s No. 1 Chevrolet, delivered a unique fire suit to Chastain and well, its men’s underwear line is certainly on full display.
Some will love it, some will hate it. The fact is, it’s what Chastain will wear for 300 miles of short track racing. Chastain and his team have had some fun with it all week, embracing the company’s ongoing deal.
Ross Chastain trending up ahead of playoffs?
The vibes are high with the No. 1 team, and they should be. Chastain is playoff bound with his Coca-Cola 600 victory, so there’s no added pressure for these last two regular season races. Still, Chastain would love to have some positive momentum heading into the postseason.
Pocono through Indianapolis was a tough summer stretch for Chastain and the No. 1 team — five finishes of 24th or worse. He then finished 11th at Iowa and 10th last Sunday at Watkins Glen, somewhat righting the ship.

Richmond has been hit or miss for Chastain. He has just three top 10s in 12 starts, finishing fifth in last year’s Cook Out 400. Chastain qualified 33rd for Saturday’s race.
Chastain isn’t the only Trackhouse Racing driver feeling good about his situation. Shane van Gisbergen, to nobody’s surprise, won at Watkins Glen. Van Gisbergen is tied with Denny Hamlin for the most wins (four) and third in playoff points (22). The New Zealand native outpaced Chastain in qualifying and will start 27th.
