Trackhouse unveils Ross Chastain Busch Light Apple paint scheme for Pocono

Trackhouse Racing and Busch Light routinely produce some of the most popular paint schemes in the NASCAR Cup Series. They look to have done it again, unveiling the No. 1 Chevrolet Ross Chastain will drive in this Sunday’s Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway.
Trackhouse and Chastain are going with a Busch Light Apple paint scheme at “The Tricky Triangle.” Chastain used the scheme earlier this month at Michigan International Speedway and will do so again at the Chicago Street Race next month.
These Busch Light schemes continue to evolve. In the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, it will be a new Busch Light Lime scheme. Surely, it has to be only a matter of time before Busch Light creates a watermelon scheme for the watermelon farmer.
For now, he’ll stick to apples, though he hopes to smash some watermelon at Pocono. He did in May’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, thus clinching a spot in the 16-driver postseason field. Chastain has followed that up with a P11 finish at Nashville, P6 at Michigan and P16 in this past Sunday’s race at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.

Chase Briscoe fumes at ‘motherf***er’ Ross Chastain after intense battle at Mexico City
Chastain looked to be closing in on a top 10 finish at Mexico City. But his car didn’t have much left late, and he faded throughout the closing laps. Before that, Chastain upset Chase Briscoe. Racing for position inside the top 10, Chastain appeared to give Briscoe a shove as the Joe Gibbs Racing driver drove past him.
Briscoe took exception to the shove. He lashed out on Chastain over his radio.
“Fu*k that motherf***er,” Briscoe said.
Briscoe addressed the incident after the race. He said that Chastain tried to spin him out.
“It’s just kind of how he races, I guess,” Briscoe told Prime Video. “He just tried to spin me out. On that original restart, he door slammed me and then I finally caught back up to him after 10 or so laps. I barely got into him, and he tried to spin me out. Typical.”
