Report: Travis Kelce reacts fiercely to Donald Trump shot, Super Bowl LIX crowd booing Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift was in attendance for Sunday’s Super Bowl LIX between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, but a large contingency of fans weren’t excited to see her.
Swift, girlfriend of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was booed when shown on the big screen inside the Caesars Superdome. President Donald Trump, also in attendance, took notice and mentioned the crowd booing Swift in a Truth Social post.
“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium,” Trump posted. “MAGA is very unforgiving!”
Kelce was “devastated” after watching Swift get booed and thought it was “unnecessary” for Trump to take a public shot at her on social media, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
Travis Kelce ‘devastated’ watching Taylor Swift get booed at Super Bowl
“Travis was aware of Taylor getting booed and he felt helpless. Seeing the look on her face got to him,” a source close to Kelce told the publication. “He always protects her and it broke his heart. He was already having a tough night and the fact that the stadium was predominantly Eagles fans didn’t help. Travis knows that this hurt her and anyone can see this.

“It’s clear to many that the Eagles fans feel she is a traitor of sorts. Being from Pennsylvania and even wearing Eagles gear prior to dating him. Travis believes that it was unnecessary for Trump to take a dig at her especially after he voiced that he was honored for a president to be there.
“After Taylor being shut out for a Grammy and Travis losing the biggest game of the year it just hasn’t been a good week for them. But he knows that even though this is not a happy ending to the season having her love gives him so much joy.”
Taylor Swift appeared taken back by the reaction. A lip reader revealed that she said, “Aww what, what’s going on” as it happened. Serena Williams, who was part of Kendrick Lamar‘s Halftime Show performance, defended Swift in a social media post.
“I love you [Taylor Swift] don’t listen to those booo!!” Williams wrote on X.
Kelce and the Chiefs fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22. Kelce recorded just four catches for 39 yards.
