Ty Gibbs responds to Clint Bowyer’s AFC Championship claim, makes prediction for Washington Commanders

For Ty Gibbs, the Super Bowl could be a family affair. The Gibbs NASCAR family is hoping to see the Washington Commanders make the big game. It has been since Coach Gibbs was at the helm since the Commanders won it all.
Meanwhile, fellow NASCAR personality Clint Bowyer, believes the Kansas City Chiefs are going all the way. In fact, he doesn’t think the Eagles or Commanders will be a challenge for Patrick Mahomes, claiming the AFC Championship is the real Super Bowl.
While young Ty Gibbs was barely alive for his grandfather’s second stint at Washington, he is a Commanders fan. It’s in his blood.
When asked by Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports about Bowyer’s bombastic prediction, Gibbs wasn’t amused. He is all behind Jayden Daniels and the Commanders.
“Um, I don’t, yeah. Well, the last time, I think, I don’t know. I really don’t really care I guess what he says about it because the Super Bowl is in a couple of weeks, and I hope the Commanders can win and go play the Bills, because I don’t think that Kansas is going to make it.”
Ty Gibbs doesn’t seem like he is super invested in the NFL. After all, he is still searching for that first NSACAR Cup Series win this season. In his third full-time year in the series, is it time for him to punch his ticket to victory lane?
All I know is if the Chiefs do win again, we’re going to have to hear it from Clint Bowyer all week long at Daytona. Let’s prevent that from happening. Looking at you Bills, Eagles/Commanders.

Ty Gibbs disagrees with Clint Bowyer on Super Bowl
Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills game at Arrowhead Stadium, Clint Bowyer is confident that his team will advance. Will the NASCAR star get to experience a three-peat, or will one of the most famous Chiefs fans in America be left disappointed this year?
Well, one thing is for certain, the Chiefs are still really good. Patrick Mahomes is still a football wizard. So, I understand the confidence someone like Clint Bowyer might have.
Talking to Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports during media days, Bowyer gave his thoughts on the upcoming AFC Championship Game.
“You ask me that Bob as if you have questions and doubts in your mind,” Bowyer responded. “Don’t doubt Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. If that 15 jersey is on the field, put it in the bank, we’re going to the Super Bowl. It’s going to be a big one. This Bills game’s got me nervous, there’s no question, talked a tremendous amount of trash. But I feel good about it, I think we’re going to do that and take care of business. I truly think the Super Bowl is this weekend. Obviously, this is going to air prior to the Bills-Chiefs game in Arrowhead but I feel good about it, full confidence.”
