Tyreek Hill admits 'f***ing bonehead' lawyer filed petition for divorce after all

Miami Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill revealed Thursday he fired the “f***ing bonehead” lawyer who filed a petition for divorce in Broward County court Monday.

Hill previously disputed a report from the Sun Sentinel Tuesday that he filed a petition for divorce from his wife, Keeta Vaccaro, saying the two of them are “happily married.” Speaking on his Twitch stream, Hill said he never gave his lawyer the green light to file the petition.

“I just gotta say that it sucks that, yeah, a lot of our stuff is public record,” Hill said, via TMZ. “But behind closed doors, a lot of people got fired, too, for just doing things without a ‘yes.’ 

“It sucks that me and my wife gotta go through that. Like yeah, public records says it and right now we’re in a spot of fixing it. I fired the fucking bonehead that did that mistake. Now it sucks.”

Hill and Vaccaro married in Texas on Nov. 8 during the Dolphins’ bye week. Vaccaro is the brother of former NFL safety Kenny Vaccaro. The two became engaged in 2021, when Hill was a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. Both Hill and Vaccaro posted photos with each other on their Instagram accounts Tuesday morning.

Hill, 29, just wrapped up his second season in Miami. He hauled in 119 receptions for a league-leading 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns. Hill is a finalist for the AP Offensive Player of the Year Award. He came down with Miami’s lone touchdown in the 26-7 AFC Wild Card defeat to the Chiefs. Hill earned the eighth Pro Bowl and fifth first-team All-Pro selection of his career.

Tyreek Hill’s home catches on fire

One week before the Dolphins’ playoff game, Hill’s home caught on fire. While the fire was ruled “unintentional, accidental” by the Davie Fire Rescue, they determined the cause to be a child playing with a lighter or matches.

Firefighters battled the flames on the roof of Hill’s seven-bedroom home and even knocked out a portion of the roof to better combat the blaze. The Dolphins announced the news of the fire on Wednesday afternoon after the wide receiver rushed home. They revealed that even though there were members of Hill’s family at the home at the time, no one was harmed.

According to Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, the fire didn’t spread beyond the room that it started in.

“It is very difficult for anybody, obviously, to have your home catch on fire, but Hill was handling it with as much poise as you can hope,” Rosenhaus said.

Hill purchased the estate for $6.9 million back in 2022, when he first became a member of the Dolphins.
