Tyreek Hill covering suspended NFL videographer's salary after backflip TD celebration
During a Week 6 game this season, Tyreek Hill went viral for a celebration he had after a touchdown catch. In it, he took a videographer’s phone to film himself performing a backflip. However, the NFL didn’t approve and Kevin Fitzgibbons, the videographer, was suspended by the league.
Now, Hill is doing his best to make things right with Fitzgibbons and pay his salary for the rest of the season, according to Barry Jackson. The two, apparently, had a prior relationship.
You can check out a clip of the initial celebration, here:
After the NFL suspended Fitzgibbons, he released a video explaining his side of the story.
“They said regardless if I knew the celebration was coming or not, I still had to be disciplined and that I shouldn’t have jumped on the sidelines after the play,” Fitzgibbons said. “One of the best moments of my life turned upside down in a matter of seconds. I get why the NFL had to make this decision and wish I could’ve done something to prevent it, but I’m thankful for the memory Tyreek gave me.”
Fitzgibbons is a student at the University of Miami and has posted videos in the past saying that he works with Tyreek Hill.
This was a decision that many fans disagreed with. After all, it was just a fun moment that makes the game enjoyable to watch for many. However, the NFL also needs to be concerned about credentialed individuals, like a videographer, showing that they’re rooting for one team or another.

Regardless of whether the move to suspend Kevin Fitzgibbons was the right thing to do, Tyreek Hill is taking care of him now.
Tyreek Hill cracks joke about Taylor Swift fans being a ‘dangerous crew’
Ahead of the Miami Dolphins’ game against Tyreek Hill’s previous team, the Kansas City Chiefs, Hill took the time to joke about Taylor Swift.
“I’m not getting into that — that’s a dangerous crew,” Tyreek Hill said. “I’m not getting into that. No comment.”
The relationship between Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been one of the biggest talking points of the season around the NFL. Swift has attended several key Kansas City games this season and Kelce has even appeared at a Swift concert as their relationship has come under the microscope. However, Hill clearly would rather not get into what’s going on there. It’s not worth it for him.
