Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is keeping his spirits up after suffering a brutal knee injury during the game against the New York Jets on Monday night. In a video shared on X/Twitter, Hill sent a message to his fans before heading into surgery.

“Keep your boy in your prayers,” Tyreek Hill said from his hospital room. “You guys have been awesome. Fins Nation, just the whole entire NFL have been amazing, sending me lots of love, lots of prayers. I’m absolutely honored, granted the situation. I love you guys so much, and hope to see you soon.”

It was reported that Hill dislocated his left knee during the Dolphins’ 27-21 victory over the Jets. He was hospitalized overnight, and Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that Hill also tore multiple ligaments in his knee, including his ACL. Hill will miss the remainder of the 2025 NFL season.

Drew Rosenhaus, Hill’s agent, spoke to WSVN 7News overnight about his client’s health. “Are there any torn ligaments, is there torn cartilage, are there any broken bones, to check on the blood flow, any, god forbid, nerve damage?” Rosenhaus said. “All of this is getting checked out.

“We don’t know the extent of the injury. Doctors have told me he dislocated his knee, which I think was apparent for everyone who watched the horrific play. But what that means, and the extent of the damage, and whether he’ll need surgery, to what extent, all of that we should find out within the next couple hours.”

Hill caught six passes for 67 yards on Monday night. In four games this year, the 31-year-old tallied 21 receptions for 265 yards and one touchdown. It is the second consecutive season Hill has not posted 1,000 receiving yards, as he only registered 959 yards in 17 games last year.

Hill is in his fourth year with the Dolphins. He spent his first six seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and helped the team win the Super Bowl during the 2019 season. In his career, Hill has been named to the Pro Bowl eight times, selected to the All-Pro Team six times, and named to the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
