Valvoline is set to sponsor Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson and William Byron at multiple races in 2024.

Both Larson and Byron made the Championship 4 in 2023, but came up short as Penske Racing wheelman Ryan Blaney took home the title last season. As the pair of Hendrick stars look to continue their success, the team announced on Friday that Valvoline will be along for the ride.

“Valvoline will be the primary sponsor for Kyle Larson in three races (Phoenix, Sonoma and the Chicago Street Race) for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season,” Hendrick wrote in a press release, via Jayski. “Valvoline will be the primary sponsor for William Byron in two races (Nashville and the Charlotte ROVAL) for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.

“The company is also the Official Lubricants Partner of Hendrick Motorsports and a major associate sponsor for all four Cup teams.”

You can check out the scheme for Kyle Larson here, and the scheme for William Byron here, courtesy of Hendrick Motorsports’ team website.

As Hendrick announced, Valvoline will be with Larson for three races, and Bryon for two. Larson’s scheme is a primarily red scheme, while Byron’s is gray. Both are pretty sweet in their own right.

Time will tell which Hendrick Motorsports driver separates from the pack in 2024, but if the past is any indicator, both Kyle Larson and William Byron have a fantastic shot at being the top dog. We’ll see if they can get Valvoline to Victory Lane in 2024.

Chase Elliott back with Kelley Blue Book for two races in 2024

In other Hendrick Motorsports news, Chase Elliott and Kelley Blue Book are teaming up once again for a couple of races in 2024. In the upcoming year, Elliott is set to rep the light blue colors of KBB for Phoenix in the spring and Talladega in the fall.

The Kelley Blue Book car is always fun to see. The light blue base with the dark blue and yellow accents makes the car pop. It is also a change from his typical NAPA paint scheme

There isn’t a lot of change with the 2024 KBB design. I’m not sure there is any difference at all. Then again, that’s not a bad thing. This design is solid and one of Chase’s better alternative schemes.

For Chase Elliott, 2024 is a big season. He needs to come out and look like the championship driver that he is. Given his injury and other setbacks this season, it isn’t hard to imagine why he did so poorly.

However, with a repaired shoulder this offseason and (hopefully) no further incidents off the track, Elliott should be good to go.

With the rise of William Byron, things are even more competitive at Hendrick Motorsports than before. Will they have a three-headed beast between Kyle Larson, Byron, and Elliott? Or will it create more trouble than it does success?
