'The View' co-host Sunny Hostin predicts Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift relationship not lasting

The Kansas City Chiefs took home their second straight Super Bowl on Sunday night after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in an overtime win that came down to the wire. Marking one of the most memorable Super Bowls to date.

Aside from the action of the game, Super Bowl LVIII will be forever be remembered for the storyline of Chief’s tight end Travis Kelce and pop superstar Taylor Swift’s relationship. Which began earlier this football season and became one of the most talked about storylines in sports and beyond in the process.

Co-host of ‘The View’ Sunny Hostin believed that the heroics of Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes deserved more attention following the game after he took home his third Super Bowl MVP award, especially compared to the Kelce-Swift narrative. Revealing that she believes the relationship won’t go the distance in the process.

“I’m surprised so many people are kind of like focusing in on Kelce because he didn’t have his best game. He was screaming at his coach and I will tell you after seeing the outfit that he walked in with, I don’t know,” Hostin said.

Kelce ended the game as the leading receiver between both teams with nine receptions for 93 yards. With his intense moment on the sidelines with Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid going viral in the first half of the game.

But the outfit that Kelce wore ahead of the big game is what led to Hostin’s hot take regarding his relationship with the 14-time Grammy Award winner. As she responded to co-host Ana Navaro’s opinion that Kelce’s pre-game outfit resembled Hostin’s outfit worn Monday on ‘The View’.

“Which is why I’m gonna say I don’t think this Taylor Swift-Kelce thing is gonna work. That outfit showed a lot of swag, that was a lot of swag outfit. I’m not sure the two match, that’s all I’m saying,” Hostin proclaimed.

Hostin must not believe that opposites can attract, but Kelce previously spoke about the similarities that he and Swift have during media availability ahead of the Super Bowl after being asked why he believes everyone is fascinated with their relationship.

“I think the values that we stand for and just who we are as people. We love to shine light on others, shine light around the people that help and support us, and on top of that I feel like we both have just a love for life,” Kelce said last Thursday leading up to the Super Bowl.

Only time will tell if the Kelce and Swift relationship will go the distance. But there’s no doubt that the two have plenty to celebrate, with Kelce winning his third Super Bowl on Sunday and Swift recently taking home two Grammy Awards last week and announcing the release of a new album on April 19 in the process.
