WATCH: Aaron Rodgers connects with Davante Adams for TD

Aaron Rodgers committed the QB-equivalent of a cardinal sin to complete a touchdown pass to Packers wideout Davante Adams on Sunday.
On fourth down and three, Rodgers rolled out of the pocket to his right and threw across his body to the middle of the field to find Adams for the catch and score. There was a clear window around Adams but Rodgers still had to slot it in just right to avoid four Washington Football Team defenders in the area.
The 17-yard score was the first of the game for the Packers on Sunday versus the WFT.
Adams, an eight-year NFL veteran out of Fresno State, caught his third touchdown pass of the 2021 season. The score marked his 65th career touchdown, moving him into third place in Green Bay football history.
Heading into the year, Adams had 546 career receptions for 6,568 yards and 62 touchdowns. He had 18 scores in the 2020 season.
With the game tied up between the Packers and WFT, Aaron Rodgers is 7 of 9 for 56 yards and a score.

Rodgers, Packers throwback to 1950
The Green Bay Packers are taking it back to 1950 on Sunday. The team unveiled throwback uniforms for the 2021 season via their team’s Twitter account.
Aaron Jones, Jaire Alexander, David Bhaktiari and Kenny Clark are among the Packers showing off their new threads. A notable emission is Aaron Rodgers, the man who will be the best player to wear the uniform.
In addition, the unveiling video featured Randall Cobb. Green Bay famously brought Cobb over in a trade following a request from Rodgers.
Rodgers is still in a well-documented riff with Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst.
Earlier this summer, Rodgers spoke on his relationship with the Packers general manager.
“I think it’s a work in progress,” Rodgers said, per Around the NFL writer Nick Shook. “I think relationships aren’t formed in the matter of a couple days. There’s time where the respect grows and the communication follows. I think the greatest relationships that you have with your friends and loved ones involve conversations and flow. You can not talk to a close friend for a few months and pick up right where you left off.”
