WATCH: Snoop Dogg gives hard-hitting analysis on reason behind Steelers loss

Snoop Dogg is preparing to perform at halftime of this year’s Super Bowl, joining a star-studded lineup also featuring Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar. However, he auditioned for a chance to call the game with Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth on Sunday night.
“I’m a die-hard Steelers fan, so this one hurt tonight,” stated Snoop Dogg. After getting over the pain of a close loss, the star musician and versatile entertainer explained how the game slipped away.
“Bad defense. Missing Minkah Fitzpatrick at that safety spot — he’s smart enough to stay at home,” Snoop Dogg stated, referring to Justin Herbert’s game-winning passing touchdown. “To me, it was over-aggressive. We had the momentum, just stay home and be patient. But you know, good things happen to good teams.”
The Steelers made a furious comeback, taking the lead after a controversial decision by Chargers coach Brandon Staley that didn’t go his way on fourth down. However, they could only muster a field goal — leaving the door open for the Chargers.

Instead of staying home and being patient like Snoop Dogg preached, the Steelers secondary played aggressive. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh, they got burned as Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams got behind the defense and took the ball to the end zone.
At times, it felt like SoFi Stadium was based in Pittsburgh. Terrible towels were prevalent and the Steelers were cheered. However, it wasn’t enough to send Snoop Dogg home happy with a victory.
The Steelers had a shot to win in both the last two weeks, but they instead tied with the Detroit Lions and suffered a heartbreaking defeat to the Chargers. Now, they’ll look to get back on track with two divisional games up next against the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.
