Young Eagles fan shows up to Cowboys training camp in Jalen Hurts jersey

A young fan in Oxnard, CA, might be confused about where he is. Because on Saturday, as the Dallas Cowboys are going through another training camp practice, he walked through in a Jalen Hurts jersey. Not something you assume would pop up in a sea of Cowboy fans.
But there he was, walking in front of stands full of fans. Somebody else, an adult, was wearing an Indianapolis Colts jersey as well. However, all attention was on the Hurts jersey, with a few boos even raining down. All in good fun, though, as there were smiles on their faces.
For those who are not Cowboys fans — or any other team inside the NFC East — Hurts has become a favorite across the league. His play with the Eagles has been fantastic since being drafted in the second round. Two Super Bowl appearances and one hoisting of the Lombardi Trophy have come with No. 1 undercenter.
During the regular season, Hurts threw for 2,903 yards, 18 touchdowns, and just five interceptions. A career-high 68.7% of his throws were completed as well.
Then you add in what Hurts is able to do with his legs, something the Eagles have fully taken advantage of. He was incredibly productive in 150 carries, going for 630 yards and 14 touchdowns.

But you are going to have a hard time finding a Cowboys fan who will speak highly of an Eagles starting quarterback. No matter the situation, it’s just how the two fan bases work. Some boos would certainly come if anybody dared to show up representing Dak Prescott at Eagles camp.
Maybe Philadelphia sent him behind the scenes to get some scouting before the season opener. Sept. 4 at Lincoln Financial Field will be a day full of excitement and not just because the Cowboys are in town. The Super Bowl banner will be revealed to signify what the organization accomplished during the 2024 season.
Hurts would be the first to tell you all focus is on what’s ahead, though. He is locked into preparing for the Week 1 matchup against Dallas. These two teams getting together is always important, let alone an opening game on national television. Starting out with a win against a divisional opponent is about best case scenario in the NFL.
Plenty from Philadelphia will be cheering the Eagles on. Arguably none braver than this guy walking through Cowboys training camp.
