Once in the open field, he shifts gears with sudden acceleration, making him a constant big-play threat. His change of direction is sharp, and he routinely makes defenders miss in space with quick cuts and jukes. 

Despite not having prototypical size, he runs with power and is not afraid to lower his shoulder for extra yards. His ability to stop-start, bounce runs outside, or squeeze through tight lanes gives him versatility as both a feature back and a change-of-pace option.
