Timoteo 2024 Recap

Entering his second season with the Nevada Wolfpack in 2024, Timoteo was looking to build off a strong close to his true-freshman campaign in 2023, where he was able to crack the rotation, playing a total of 200 snaps, including starts against Hawaii and Utah State at right tackle. The Nevada coaching staff clearly knew they had a blossoming OL in Timoteo, and wanted to get him on the field. Entering the 2024 campaign, Timoteo had successfully built off his first season, as he was Nevada’s starting right tackle for the majority of the season, with 11 total games played, seven starts at right tackle, and 572 total snaps. After the conclusion of the season, Timoteo entered the transfer portal, with three seasons of eligibility at Oregon State entering the 2025 season.

Timoteo 2025 Outlook

With Oregon State losing a good chunk of offensive line production to graduation this offseason, the Beavers knew they needed to add experienced reinforcements to the offensive line to re-tool the unit for the upcoming season. The Beavers lost the likes of Joshua Gray, Grant Starck, Flavio Gonzalez, and Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan, and were looking for players who had proven themselves as starting commodities, which is where Timoteo fits in.

Looking at Timoteo’s role, he’s definetly on the shortlist to be one of the Beavers’ starting tackles, likely on the right side. Coming off a season where he nearly saw 600 snaps at right tackle for Nevada, that’s likely where he’s going to make his mark for the Beavers, and with the team having a need at tackle, it’s not hard to see that he’ll be a big part of the offensive line rotation.

One thing about Timoteo during spring practices stood out to me, and that was pretty much from day one, he was running with the top unit at one of the tackle spots. There wasn’t much of an acclimation period, and considering the Beavers had a lot of guys on the shelf due to injury this spring, he was able to fill a big need on the line, and no doubt, impress new offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh.

Look for Timoteo to compete for and be right in the mix to start at one of the Beavers’ tackle spots this season. He brings experience, good size at 6-foot-4, 308 pounds, and will likely be looked back on as one of the Beavers’ better transfer additions this offseason.
