Oregon State adds WR Jayden Padgett to 2026 recruiting class
The Oregon State Beavers added another member to their 2026 recruiting class on Thursday evening as Folsom (CA) wide receiver Jayden Padgett committed to the Beavers after receiving an offer from new head coach JaMarcus Shephard and his Beavers’ coaching staff.
Padgett will join fellow Folson teammate Jameson Powell with the Beavers. Powell, a former Ole Miss commitment, signed with Oregon State on Wednesday. The Beavers also signed Archbishop Riordan (CA) talent Cynai Thomas on Wednesday.
This season, Padgett totaled 25 receptions for 438 yards and three touchdowns, which ranked fourth on Folson behind Powell, 2027 three-star Rob Larson, and Nevada wide receiver commit Isaiah Williams. The California wide receiver will bring great size to the Beavers’ wide receiver room at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds.
