💬 Wondering what other Oregon State fans are saying?
Oregon State Beavers In The NFL
Right Tackle, 1st String – Taliese Fuaga – New Orleans Saints
In New Orleans’ season-opening 20-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Fuaga started at right tackle and saw 46 total snaps.
Punter – Johnny Hekker – Tennessee Titans
In his debut with the Tennessee Titans, Hekker was busy, punting eight times. He tallied 395 yards, averaging 49.4 yards per punt. He also landed two inside the 20 and had a long punt of 65 yards on the afternoon.
Left Guard, 1st String – Isaac Seumalo – Pittsburgh Steelers
In Pittsburgh’s 34-32 win over the New York Jets, Seumalo started at left guard and played 56 snaps.
Wide Receiver / 1st String KR/PR – Anthony Gould – Indianapolis Colts
In Indy’s 33-8 blowout win over the Dolphins to kick off the year, Gould saw action on just two special teams snaps. He saw action on one kick return (taken by another returner) and one punt return (no return or fair catch).
Linebacker, 1st String – Omar Speights – Los Angeles Rams
In Los Angeles’ 14-9 win over the Texans, Speights started at middle linebacker and played 45 snaps. He finished fourth on defense with four tackles.
Cornerback, 2nd String – Rejzohn Wright – New Orleans Saints
Wright primarily saw action on special teams in New Orleans’ 20-13 loss to Arizona, playing 13 snaps and tallying one assisted tackle.
Left Guard, 2nd String – Blake Brandel – Minnesota Vikings
Now serving as a backup lineman for the Vikings, Brandel saw action on one offensive snap and three special teams snaps in Minnesota’s 27-24 win over Chicago.
Cornerback, Nickelback 1st String – Alex Austin – New England Patriots
In New England’s 20-13 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, Austin started at one of the cornerback spots and played 63 snaps. He tallied five tackles (fifth-most on defense), had one tackle for loss, and one pass deflection.
Cornerback, 2nd String – Nahshon Wright – Chicago Bears
In his debut with the Chicago Bears, Wright certainly made his old team, the Vikings, pay for letting him walk in free agency. Minnesota got the last laugh with the win, of course, but Wright’s 74-yard pick-six was the highlight moment of his career so far, and perhaps helped him land a permanent home in Chicago. He also tallied four tackles, one tackle for loss, and one deflection in 52 snaps.
Wide Receiver, 2nd String – Brandin Cooks – New Orleans Saints
Settling into his new role with the New Orleans Saints, Cooks didn’t get the start against Arizona, but played a sizable 56 snaps on offense. He caught three of his four targets from QB Spencer Rattler for 23 yards.
Safety, 2nd String – Kitan Oladapo – Green Bay Packers
In Green Bay’s 27-13 win over the Detroit Lions, Oladapo saw action on special teams on 11 snaps.
Tight End, 2nd String – Luke Musgrave – Green Bay Packers
Musgrave also saw action on 17 snaps on offense in the 27-13 win over the Lions. He reeled his lone target from QB Jordan Love for four yards.
Tight End, 3rd String – Teagan Quitoriano – Atlanta Falcons
In Atlanta’s 23-20 loss to Tampa Bay, Quitoriano saw action on two offensive plays and 13 on special teams. He didn’t tally any statistics.
Practice Squads
DB Jordan Poyer – Buffalo Bills
After a stint with the Miami Dolphins, Poyer is back in Buffalo, this time on the practice squad. Considering his familiarity with Sean McDermott’s defense, should an injury in the DB room happen, Poyer could certainly be elevated.
OL Gerad Lichtenhan – Baltimore Ravens
Playing his lone season for Oregon State in 2024 and starting every game at left tackle, Lichtenhan has signed on with the Ravens’ practice squad.
OG Joshua Gray – Atlanta Falcons
Oregon State’s all-time starts leader, Gray, has signed with the Atlanta Falcons after a standout career with the Beavers.
DB Jaden Robinson – Denver Broncos
After tallying 38 tackles for Oregon State in his final collegiate season in 2024, Robinson has signed with the Broncos’ practice squad.
TE Jermaine Terry –
After signing with the Giants’ practice squad, Terry reached an injury settlement with the Giants.
