Oregon State Commits in Action: August 29-30

Another week of high school football is in the books. Here’s how Oregon State’s 2026 commitments performed this past weekend.
QB Deagan Rose
Another great night for Rose who completed 75% of his passes for 217 yards and five touchdowns in a 49-14 win over Salinas (CA).
Toliver and Erie (CO) took a 34-21 loss over the weekend at the hands of Ralston Valley but the Oregon State commit had a big night with 17 carries for 146 yards and one touchdown.
WR Cynai Thomas
We don’t have full stats from Archbishop Riordan’s 41-14 win over McClymonds but we do know Cynai Thomas found the endzone in the win for Archbishop Riordan.
In a 14-0 loss to Liberty (CA), Watkins had one carry for four yards as well as three receptions for 50-yards. On the season he’s up to six receptions for 80 yards. The Frontier offense has struggled through two games with just seven points total.
In a 30-7 win over King High School, Brown recorded seven tackles bringing his season total to 14 tackles in two games. He also has two pass deflections.
CB Kai Wheaton
No stats are available for Wheaton from Allen’s 46-13 win over Midland Legacy.
No stats are available for Dunmore from Buchanan’s 31-6 win over Kennedy.
Bell recorded six tackles and one pass deflection for Pittsburg (CA) in a 42-36 win over Granite Bay. He also had five touches on offense for 47-yards and one touchdown.
No stats are available for Purnell from Lincoln’s 36-20 win over Long Beach Poly.
Did Not Play
A pair of future Beavers did not play this week in linebacker Lance McGee and defensive end Adel Dorr.
