Oregon State Commits in Action: End of October Check-In
The high school football regular season in most states is complete, and playoffs are underway. Below, BeaversEdge checks in on Oregon State’s seven remaining commitments and their performances so far this season.
WR Cynai Thomas (Archbishop Riordan – CA)
The three-star prospect and top-600 talent nationally has recorded 32 receptions this season for 474 yards and 10 touchdowns. For his career, he’s set a new Archbishop Riordan school record with over 2,000 career receiving yards.
ATH Malcolm Watkins (Frontier – CA)
Watkins had one of his best games of the season last weekend with four receptions for 145 yards and two touchdowns. For the season, he had 31 receptions for 482 yards and six scores.
LB Jeremiah Brown (San Jacinto – CA)
Brown this season has 46 tackles, including two tackles for loss in nine games. He also has seven pass deflections, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.
S Kai Wheaton (Allen – TX)
No full-season stats available for Wheaton.
DE Adel Dorr (Issaquah – WA)
Dorr this season has recorded 41.5 tackles, including 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also has 23 additional quarterback pressures and one forced fumble.
RB Braylon Tolliver (Erie – CO)
This season, Tolliver has recorded 105 carries for 783 yards and eight touchdowns. He has four games of 100+ rushing yards. He has also recorded 10 receptions for 222 yards and a trio of touchdowns.
ATH Cammeron Purnell (Lincoln – CA)
Purnell this season has been very good defensively with 56 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one interception.
