Oregon state cornerback Exodus Ayers arrested, facing multiple charges

According to police reports published online by Benton County, Oregon, sophomore cornerback Exodus Ayers was arrested on Monday morning and booked into the Benton County Jail.
Ayers, 20 years old, is facing multiple charges, including criminal mischief, coercion, strangulation – domestic violence, assault 4 — simple assault domestic violence, harassment (physical contact / simple assault), and unlawful dissemination of intimate images.
Ayers is in his second year with the program after signing with the program as part of their 2024 recruiting class out of Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. He is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he attended La Cueva High School.

In his first season with the program, Ayers played in eight games, recording 21 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups.
The sophomore has not played in a game for Oregon State this season, and the program has not released any details as to why he has not played. His absence followed the release of a video on TikTok by his former girlfriend, Katherine Daniella Rodrigues, on July 27, which Rodrigues alleges shows Ayers during an abusive incident.
He remains on the Beavers’ active roster as of 12:14 p.m. on Monday.
