Florida State transfer Conrad Hussey officially joins Oregon State roster
After being reported 10 days ago on BeaversEdge that Oregon State was in the midst of adding Florida State transfer defensive back Conrad Hussey to their roster, the move has become official.
Hussey was set to enter his third season with Florida State in 2025, but left the program in mid-August. Over his first two seasons with the Seminoles, Hussey played in 24 games, recording 40 tackles, two pass deflections, and one pass breakup.
As a true freshman in 2023, Hussey was impressive with 22 tackles, including two pass deflections, one interception, and two forced fumbles. In the process, he also earned a PFF grade of 80.3 across 170 snaps. He was also named FSU’s top defensive freshman of the year that season.
Last fall in 190 snaps, the Fort Lauderdale native totaled 18 tackles while grading out at 50.8, including 49.8 in coverage. Notably, Hussey battled through injury throughout the 2024 season and started in just three of the 10 games he played in for FSU.
The Beavers are currently off to an 0-3 start in the 2025 season and are coming off a 45-14 loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders this past weekend in Lubbock, Texas.
