Oregon State redshirt-senior outside linebacker Oluwaseyi (Olu) Omotosho has entered the transfer portal as a graduate, he announced on X on Friday afternoon. The 6-foot-2, 256-pounder entered the portal as a graduate and as a result will be eligible to play immediately at his final stop for his last season.

The Houston, Texas native is coming off a redshirt-junior season with the Beavers, where he played in nine games and finished with 14 tackles with one tackle for loss, one sack, and six quarterback hurries. It was an injury-riddled campaign for Omotosho, who would play through an early-season labrum injury for most of the season. His best game of the season came against UNLV, where he had four tackles and one sack.

In Omotosho’s first year with the Beavers in 2023, he found himself in a crowded OLB room and saw action in seven games, totaling four tackles with one sack.

Omotosho began his career at Wyoming, spending three years with the Cowboys. His best season was in 2022,  when he had 46 tackles in 11 games as a redshirt freshman. Omotosho also had 6.5 sacks with 7.5 tackles and 10 quarterback hurries. He played in three games in 2021, totaling one tackle against Utah State and taking a redshirt year. He had a free first year in 2020 due to the blanket NCAA waiver, not seeing action.

With Omotosho no longer in the fold, the Beavers have Nikko Taylor, Walker Harris, Andy Alfieri, Kai Wallin, Zakaih Saez, Shamar Meikle, and true freshmen Logan Knapp and Bleu Dantzler at outside linebacker.
