With EA Sports set to release NCAA College Football 26 in just over a week, BeaversEdge takes a closer look at Oregon State running back Anthony Hankerson, who cracks the Top-100 in the launch ratings for the upcoming edition of the game.

The 5-foot-8, 203-pounder from Boynton Beach, Fla., is entering his second and final campaign for the Beavers in his senior season, after spending the first two years of his career with Colorado.

Hankerson is coming off a 2024 campaign with the Beavers, where he began the season in a near-equal timeshare with Jam Griffin, before Griffin went down with a season-ending injury, giving Hankerson the keys to become the featured back in the backfield to close the season.

Playing in all 12 games, Hankerson tallied the 19th 1,000-yard rushing season at OSU, finishing with 1,082 yards on 232 carries. His 15 rushing scores rank sixth for a single season at OSU, and he finished with five games of 100 or more yards. He averaged 4.7 yards per carry, had a score in nine of the 12 games, and tallied 27 catches for 151 yards.

Entering the 2025 campaign, there’s a big expectation that Hankerson is in line for a strong senior season, and the fine folks at EA Sports tend to agree, as he’s the lone Beaver to make the top-100, checking in at 91 overall and No. 62 on the list.

Hankerson is ranked as the eighth-best running back, and his awareness rating of 93, which is your rating for how you understand and react to the game accordingly, is the highest of any running back in the game. Hankerson is also 90 or better with acceleration (93), injury (92), stamina (98), toughness (94), break tackle (91), and ball carrier vision (93).

Other notable rankings for Hankerson: He has a 73 overall catch rating, a 72 overall short-route running, and boasts an 84 rating as a kick returner.
