REPORT - Oregon State & Oregon To Continue Series In 2027
According to a report from Oregonian Sports Columnist Bill Oram, the Oregon State-Oregon football rivalry is set to resume starting again in 2027.
The series is set to pause next season in 2026, which would have been a home game for Oregon State.
Per Oram’s reporting, the new series is likely set to resume at Autzen Stadium in 2027, which would kick off a home-and-home series through 2032. That would mean Oregon State’s next home matchup against the Ducks would be in 2028.

Oregon State will be a part of the new Pac-12 Conference starting in 2026, with Washington State and OSU welcoming in Texas State, San Diego State, Utah State, Colorado State, Fresno State, & Boise State. Gonzaga will also be in the conference, but for the sake of football, there will be eight teams in the new conference.
Oregon State currently has non-conference matchups against Houston, Texas Tech, and Montana without Oregon on the schedule in 2026. In 2027, when the series is reportedly set to resume in Eugene, the Beavers have scheduled matchups with New Mexico, Ole Miss, and BYU. However, the new Pac-12 will only feature seven conference games without doubling up an opponent like we saw vs WSU this year, so there’s still some flexibility there.
In 2028, when the series would reportedly resume in Corvallis, the Beavers kick off the season at Allegiant Stadium vs BYU, and also have Idaho and New Mexico on the schedule.
Oregon State’s rivalry with Oregon is one of the oldest in the country, with the two teams having met each season since 1894, except for the WW2-paused games in 1943 and 1944. It’s the fifth-most-played rivalry in FBS and the most-played rivalry in the Western United States.
