Depleted with injuries, Jeff Brohm’s Louisville Cardinals enter the 37th edition of the Governors Cup coming off three straight losses.  On the other sideline, Kentucky and Mark Stoops are trying to manage the rocky stages of their relationship. Rumors swirled around Stoops’ potential firing earlier this fall, but the Wildcats have won three of their last four and enter the final game of the regular season one win away from a bowl bid. And, Stoops’ job is likely safe for the time being.  Kentucky is coming off a 45-17 loss at Vanderbilt, while Louisville didn’t fare much better, losing at SMU 38-6.  Starting with Brohm and Louisville, there’s a good bit to touch on, including the announcement of a starting playmaker being out this weekend.
