At a glance: No. 14 Louisville taking it "game-by-game" against California

After picking up its seventh win of the season at Virginia Tech, No. 14 Louisville is creeping into the ACC title game and College Football Playoff discussion.  The only thing the Cards have to do is keep winning, and the next opportunity comes this weekend, as for the first time as ACC foes, California and Louisville will meet on the gridiron this Saturday.  Our in-depth preview will publish on Thursday, but in the meantime, let’s take a statistical view at the matchup and take a quick look at the ins and outs of California and head coach Justin Wilcox.  Starting with Louisville, there are a couple of notes and updates from Jeff Brohm after his Monday media availability, including the status of running backs Isaac Brown and Duke Watson.
