Chuck Alexander, 2027 4-star wide receiver, commits to Louisville
Just hours following the Cardinals’ 41-0 win over Kentucky. Louisville football got another big win.
Withrow (Oh.), four-star wide receiver Charles “Chuck” Alexander Jr. has committed to Louisville following his unofficial game day visit to the program this weekend. Alexander took to X for his announcement.
As a member of the 2027 class, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound pass catcher is the second junior to commit to Louisville. Quarterback commit Jack Sorgi has been a verbal pledge since June.
Alexander, the class’s No. 202 overall prospect according to Rivals and is also ranked as the sixth overall prospect out of Ohio. The Cincinnati native is the state’s second-best wide receiver. He held offers and interest from schools like Pittsburgh, Indiana, Cincinnati, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
In eight recorded games this season, Alexander has amassed 369 receiving yards and six touchdowns, while averaging over 14 yards a catch. Vince Marrow played a heavy role in Alexander’s recruitment, first offering him when he was at Kentucky. Although, the Cardinals had already offered Alexander back in April, almost two months before Marrow arrived from Lexington.
