University of Louisville football is in the middle of the second of their two bye weeks this fall, and is looking ahead to the Cardinals’ biggest game of the season, a Friday night matchup with top-five Miami (FL).

Louisville has already started as a 13.5-point underdog according to FanDuel and other sportsbooks, with the point total for the game being set at 53.5. The No. 2 Hurricanes are easily the toughest opponent the Cards have and will face this season, and it’s the largest point spread in favor of a Louisville opponent this season.

Miami is 5-0 entering the contest, holding wins over No. 18 South Florida, No. 18 Florida State, and No. 6 Notre Dame. They do not have another ranked opponent on the schedule. The Hurricanes have only played one conference game this season, sitting at 1-0 in the league, while Jeff Brohm’s Cardinals lost for the first time this season against No. 24 Virginia in overtime.

Miami is the easy favorite to win the ACC, sitting with favorable odds (-175), and the Cardinals have the sixth-highest odds to win the conference at +3000.

The Cards and Canes kick off at 7 PM EST on Friday with both squads coming off bye weeks.
