Q&A with Kobe Rodgers — Louisville basketball Media Day 2025
University of Louisville guard Kobe Rodgers spent all of last year on the bench as he rehabbed a knee injury, but is primed for a large role as a ball-handler this winter.
The 6-foot-3 redshirt senior established himself as a leader in the locker room over the course of last season. Now, he’ll bring that leadership to the court, where he provides the Cardinals with a versatile skill set as a stellar on-ball defender and an attacking guard offensively.
Here is Rodgers’ question and answer (Q&A) from Louisville’s Media Day on October 15, 2025.
At media day, a press conference-style question-and-answer session with Kelsey was followed by a scrum media session, during which all 12 scholarship players were available for questions for 30 minutes. Those player interviews and one-on-ones will be released on an individual basis in the days leading up to the season.
