Taj Powell flips to Louisville after "amazing" visit and "consistency" from Vince Marrow

Louisville football's latest addition to its 2026 class is another flip, Springfield's (OH) Taj Powell, who was previously committed to West Virginia. He's also another commit with deep ties to the Cardinals' Director of Player Personnel and Recruiting, Vince Marrow. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound linebacker ultimately landed with Louisville after being on campus for the week one Eastern Kentucky game. "The visit was amazing. The coaches and players really made me feel at home, and I got a great sense of the culture they’re building," Powell told Cardinal Sports.
