VIDEO: Louisville's Pat Kelsey recaps loss at No. 25 Arkansas
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Louisville men’s basketball team has lost for the first time this season following an 89-80 road defeat at No. 25 Arkansas.
The Cards were 3-of-20 from beyond the arc and had made 12 fewer free throws than the Razorbacks. The Cardinals went into the break trailing 47-29, their largest halftime deficit under second-year head coach Pat Kelsey.
Kelsey spoke with the media after the nine-point loss and touched on his team’s slow start, shooting performance, and defensive effort.
Louisville will head to Indianapolis to play the 22nd-ranked Hoosiers, who are also coming off a loss. The two will tip off against one another for the third consecutive season at 2 PM EST on Saturday.
