Four-star Class of 2027 point guard Jason Gardner will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this fall according to a new report from Sam Kayser of League Ready.

Kentucky has offered 2027 guards Beckham Black and Nasir Anderson recently, and Gardner is one of the nation’s top backcourt prospects in his own right.

According to Kayser, Gardner will be at Kentucky on October 18. Kayser reports that Gardner has also scheduled fall visits to Notre Dame (10/4), Purdue (10/25), Ohio State (11/1), and Cincinnati (11/15).

Gardner is ranked the No. 33 player in the nation and the No. 6 point guard in the class on Rivals.

The 5’11, 165-pound guard has been in touch with the Kentucky coaching staff for the past couple of months and a planned visit to Lexington isn’t out of left field.

Last month Gardner told Rivals’ Jamie Shaw, “I’ve been in the gym a lot, so I’d just say that I’ve been getting stronger. Now, just being able to control my body, going into the lane, taking the contact. So, I’ve just been getting stronger, and then also my passing. Just bringing the defenses more on how I can get my teammates open and reading the game. I watch a lot of De’Aaron Fox, Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, you know, a lot of those small, quick guards that are very athletic with the ball.”

He’s now up to about two dozen offers and Kentucky’s is a big one.

Then, he mentioned that Arkansas, Alabama, Michigan State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Duke were some of the other schools that had been in contact with him over the summer.
