Most of our focus and the focus of the UK coaching staff is on finishing strong before the early signing period. Then the emphasis will be on the portal.

But in the latest reminder that high school recruiting never stops we’re spotlighting a number of younger prospects who have landed recent offers from Kentucky.

Tae Walden is a 6’2, 165-pound Class of 2027 receiver from Collierville, Tenn., who has a three-star (87.15) Rivals Industry Ranking. In that industry ranking he’s the No. 310 player in the nation, the No. 38 receiver in the class, and the No. 12 prospect in Tennessee. He announced an offer from Kentucky on Tuesday.

Miguel Whitley also announced his offer from Kentucky on Tuesday. He’s also a Class of 2027 wide receiver but has a four-star (90.56) Rivals Industry Ranking, making him the No. 212 player in the ’27 class, the No. 26 receiver, and the No. 8 player in Louisiana. He attends New Orleans (La.) St. Augustine and has offers from Ohio State, LSU, Texas A&M, Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and others.

Another ’27 receiver to announce a UK offer today was Ray’Quan Williams. He’s a three-star (84.67) in the Rivals Industry Ranking which places him as the No. 579 player in the class, the No. 81 receiver, and the No. 17 prospect in Louisiana. Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, and Auburn are among the schools that have offered Williams.

Another New Orleans receiver to land an offer from Kentucky recently was Easton Royal. For those who follow the top prospects nationally he needs no introduction. Royal is the No. 7 overall player in the 2027 class. That makes him the No. 1 receiver in the nation and the No. 1 prospect in Louisiana. Needless to say he’s going to be a hard pull.

Quintin Burrell is also highly regarded an he picked up an offer from Kentucky in the last week, too. The 6’2, 195-pound receiver from Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel is a four-star (93.06), which places him as the No. 56 player in the class, the No. 8 receiver in the class, and the No. 5 prospect in Illinois. Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, and Alabama are some of his offers.
