Kentucky's offers the nation's top-rated 2027 point guard

Prolific Prep’s Prolific Prep’s Nasir Anderson is Rivals’ top-rated point guard in the 2027 class and his recruiting profile got a big boost on Monday when Mark Pope and the Kentucky staff became the latest to extend an offer.
Alabama, North Carolina, Houston, Auburn, Louisville, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Florida, and LSU are just some of the other schools that have offered Anderson.
On3’s Jamie Shaw reported last week that UK assistant coach Jason Hart made a trip to Prolific Prep to check on not only Anderson but also Bruce Branch and Caleb Holt, who officially visited Kentucky two weekends ago.
Anderson has said he was a big Georgia fan growing up, and both the Bulldogs and also Georgia Tech are eager to keep him close to home. He has said his dad is a big North Carolina fan, he likes Alabama’s style of play, and Maryland has been aggressively courting him.
When asked what will drive his recruitment Anderson has said he wants a school that will cater to the point guard in its system.
He led Team USA to the FIBA U16 AmeriCup gold medal averaging 12 points, seven assists, and 3.5 steals.
