SEC Media Days: Kirby Smart expects parity trend to continue

With the way the college football season went in the first year of the sport’s expanded playoff it’s only natural there would be a lot of talk about parity.

The SEC’s long-standing domination of the sport was disrupted in 2024 and changes in the sport may have played a role.

From the main stage at SEC Media Days, two-time championship-winning coach Kirby Smart spoke about the challenges of building and maintaining a program during a period of change.
