With Mark Stoops’ name linked to the coaching vacancy at Virginia Tech and the subsequent response from the Kentucky fan base now seems like the right time to anticipate what the coaching carousel could look like.

That carousel is already raging with some coaching firings midseason. There are also a number of big name head coaching positions that are likely to come open at some point in the months ahead.

In this day and age the scale of head coaching turnover could be staggering as college administrators jockey to get their ducks in a row.
