Kentucky head coach Mark Pope addressed the media after the Wildcats’ 84-70 loss to Georgetown on Thursday night in exhibition play at Rupp Arena.

It marked the Cats’ final tuneup leading into the regular-season opener. Kentucky won its first exhibition game, topping preseason No. 1 Purdue last week at Rupp Arena, but struggled against a physical Hoyas squad while playing without its top two point guards, Jaland Lowe and Denzel Aberdeen.

Pope said the loss gave the UK staff a great deal of teaching moments on film to present the Cats.
