Kentucky’s Jasper Johnson and Brandon Garrison spoke with the media on Monday leading up to the No. 9 Wildcats’ season opener against Nicholls on Tuesday at Rupp Arena.

The Colonels, coming off a 20-win season, visit Lexington for the first matchup between the two schools.

It marks the 124th season of UK Basketball. The Cats are 101-21 in season openers. (No official schedule was played in 1952-53.)

Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET on the SEC Network+ streaming package.
