Week 1 Recruiting Notebook

The biggest news to come out of Saturday’s season opener was Kentucky’s win against Toledo.

But home games are also recruiting opportunities and Kentucky brought in a number of players from the 2026, 2027, and 2028 classes to get a taste of the gameday experience.

Class of 2027 quarterback commitment DJ Hunter was one of the headliners to make it to campus today. But a number of others made it, too, including a teammate of another Kentucky commitment who happens to be coveted by top SEC programs.
