Friday Night Hoos: How UVa's commits performed last week

CavCorner takes a look at how Virginia football commitments performed this past week on the gridiron.
QB Ely Hamrick (Crest – NC)
Hamrick and Crest were off this past weekend. On the season, the three-star prospect has completed 54-for-86 (46.7%) passing attempts for 766 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.
WR Jack Rhodes (Aquinas – GA)
Rhodes this past weekend had eight receptions for 170 yards and one touchdown, bringing his season totals to 33 receptions for 658 yards and 10 touchdowns in four games. The Georgia native continues to look like a major steal for the Cavaliers’ offense.
WR Dylan Cope (Hewitt-Trussville – AL)
Cope recorded six receptions for 76 yards and one touchdown last weekend in a 24-0 win for Hewitt-Trussville. He now has 21 receptions for 358 yards and three touchdowns. While Cope isn’t posting the same level of stats as Rhodes, his senior season is still off to an encouraging start.
OL Michael Gildea (Hun School – NJ)
The Hun School is now 4-1 this season and has been tremendous on the ground this season, averaging 161.4 rushing yards per game, including 10.2 yards per carry.
OL Dylan Biehl (Lambert – GA)
Lambert is 2-3 this fall, and their offense has struggled at times to move the ball, averaging just 92.4 rushing yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry.
LB Dallas Brannon (Independence – NC)
Brannon had a season high of 11 tackles last weekend for Independence in a 27-20 win, including one tackle for loss. In five games, he has 46 total tackles and four tackles for loss. A game changer for Independence, Virginia fans should be very excited about the linebacker’s potential at the next level.
