Friday Night Hoos: How UVa's commits performed last week

CavCorner takes a look at how Virginia football commitments performed this past week on the gridiron.
QB Ely Hamrick (Crest – NC)
Hamrick and Crest defeated Forestview 48-0 on Monday night. No stats are available for Crest yet for the game. On the season, not including Monday night’s game, the three-star prospect has completed 54-for-86 (46.7%) passing attempts for 766 yards and six touchdowns with two interceptions.
WR Jack Rhodes (Aquinas – GA)
Rhodes recorded seven receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown for Aquinas in a 51-28 win. His season totals are now up to 40 receptions for 717 yards and 11 touchdowns.
WR Dylan Cope (Hewitt-Trussville – AL)
Cope recorded five receptions for 98 yards and two touchdowns this past weekend for Hewitt-Trussville. For the season, Cope has totaled 26 receptions for 456 yards and five touchdowns.
OL Michael Gildea (Hun School – NJ)
The Hun School is now 5-1 this season. This past weekend, they averaged 9.7 yards per carry and totaled 146 rushing yards on 15 carries, thanks in part to Gildea’s effort.
OL Dylan Biehl (Lambert – GA)
Lambert is 2-3 this fall, and their offense has struggled at times to move the ball, averaging just 92.4 rushing yards per game and 3.7 yards per carry.
LB Dallas Brannon (Independence – NC)
Brannon and Independence did not play this past weekend. In five games, he has 46 total tackles and four tackles for loss. A game changer for Independence, Virginia fans should be very excited about the linebacker’s potential at the next level.
