Friday Night Hoos: UVa commits continue to impress this fall

CavCorner takes a look at how Virginia football commitments performed this past week on the gridiron.
QB Ely Hamrick (Crest – NC)
Hamrick continues to put together a very good senior season. On October 3, he completed 12-of-15 passing attempts for 236 yards and two touchdowns. He’s up to 76-for-112 (67.9%) this fall for 1,177 yards and nine touchdowns with two interceptions. He also has 44 carries for 282 yards and seven touchdowns.
WR Jack Rhodes (Aquinas – GA)
Rhodes on October 3 had four receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown, improving his senior season stats to 44 receptions for 806 yards and 12 touchdowns.
WR Dylan Cope (Hewitt-Trussville – AL)
Cope last week had seven receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown. His season totals are now 33 receptions for 515 yards and six touchdowns.
OL Michael Gildea (Hun School – NJ)
OL Dylan Biehl (Lambert – GA)
Lambert (GA) won last week 33-31, but struggled to run the ball with 87 total yards on 31 carries, an averaeg of 2.8 yards per carry.
LB Dallas Brannon (Independence – NC)
Brannon had a season high 18 tackles and two tackles for loss last week, bringing his season totals to 64 tackles and six tackles for loss, including two sacks in six games played.
CB Alex Dunn (Rustburg – VA)
No defensive stats are available for Dunn, but he is credited with six rushing yards and 225 receiving yards this season.
