Navy WR Commit Jack Rhodes Flips to UVa

UVa’s 2026 class has been highlighted by a solid group of incoming receiver talent. Today, UVa added to that group, flipping Navy commit Jack Rhodes to the Hoos. Rhodes is UVa’s 12th commit in the 2026 class, and the fourth receiver, joining Dylan Cope (Hewitt-Trussville, Alabama), DaMari Carter (Richmond, VA) and Josiah Teasley (Springfield, VA). Rhodes has not yet received a ranking.
Rhodes committed to Navy on June 21st, soon after picking up an offer from the Midshipmen. Rhodes also held offers from the other two military academies, Army and Air Force, along with Georgia State, Kent State, Eastern Kentucky, Dartmouth and others. Rhodes picked up an offer from Virginia last week, and quickly made the call for the Hoos.
Rhodes has one more year of high school football before coming to Virginia. The receiver, listed at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, plays at Aquinas High School in Augusta, Georgia. Rhodes highlights from his junior year show him to be a physical downfield target who can high-point the football and win contested catch battles with opposing DBs.
UVa is up to 12 commits in their 2026 class, which currently ranks 69th nationally, and 16th in the ACC.
