Virginia set to host official visitor on Saturday

The Virginia Cavaliers will be hosting an intriguing official visitor on Saturday, CavsCorner has confirmed.
Making the trip from Cincinnati, Ohio, this weekend will be 6-foot-7, 205-pound defensive end Sefa Sackey. The Ohio native has become one of the hottest names on the recruiting trail this fall and has seen his offer sheet grow quite a bit.
Sackey earned an offer from UVa at the start of the month. They joined programs such as Wake Forest, USC, and Northwestern, which have all hosted Sackey on official visits in recent weeks as well. Toledo also hosted Sackey in September.
A dual-sport athlete, Sackey has opportunities to play collegiate basketball as well, but has become serious about playing college football at the next level. Some programs view Sackey as a tight end, others as an outside linebacker or defensive end.
According to Rivals’ national recruiting analyst, Sackey doesn’t have a preference yet as he still learns and adjusts to the game. The Cavaliers view him as a defensive end.
Rivals ranks Sackey as a top-60 edge rusher nationally, the highest of any recruiting service, as well as a top-25 talent in the state of Ohio. In the Rivals Industry rankings, he’s ranked as the No. 800 player nationally, the No. 85 edge rusher, and the No. 37 player in Ohio.
